Honorary Consulate

At the beginning of 2021, the Honorary Consulate had been established by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and Petr Torak MBE has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic. COMPAS Charity has agreed to accommodate the Honorary consulate as it complements the advice and support provision offered by COMPAS' advice centre.

The Honorary Consulate will assist Czech citizens in the following areas:

  • Help during emergency situations
  • Issuing temporary travel documents in conjunction with the Czech Consulate in London
  • Legalisation (signatures, copies of documents, certification of documents for Czech authorities)
  • Collection of new passports
  • Consultation in person or over the phone
  • Supporting events of the Czech republic in the area of jurisdiction
  • Supporting trading and cultural interests of the Czech republic

The opening hours are Wednesdays from 9am to 1pm and Fridays from 1pm to 5pm, but it is essential to book an appointment. You can book an apt by e-mailing your request to peterborough@honorary.mzv.cz
